What pleasure to greet you from the Bellaire Community UMC. It is my joy to serve as the pastor to this congregation of wonderful people. My job description, what it boils down to, is to grow the Kingdom of God. The challenge is to remember where the Kingdom of God is located. Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you." This means we need to share time with our Lord to allow Him the opportunity to grow within us. With Jesus invited into our lives it makes us "Alive Inside!" With the help of the Holy Spirit we are alive within our inner being, alive together in worship, alive in prayer, alive in God's living Word and alive in service to our neighbors in the world.
It is my hope that anyone who is seeking a church home would come here and experience our worship as a part of your search. I am sure that you will discover, as I already have, that you will be warmly received and cared for as you enter our doors. It is our prayer that your first welcome here will draw you to return many times over until you, too, feel right at home and one of us.
