Our theme for February is (what else?) “Love.” With Valentine’s day so close at hand, it is a wonderful diversion from a wintery month. How nice to focus on all those warm, fuzzy feelings we all enjoy so much. To be loved and to love is perhaps the greatest of all the human capabilities which lifts us above all the rest of creation. When God created us, as it is stated in Psalm 8:5, God made us a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned us with glory and honor. To be chosen above all to be created in the image of God, to be a Spirit inspired creation, is a blessing beyond words. And it is the part of us that makes it possible to know and share love.

 

So we invite you to come and see how wonderful life with our loving God can be. Come and enjoy the experience: to know and share the love of God—and love for one another. Each time we gather together for praise, worship, study, prayer or joyful fellowship, we find ourselves in the presence of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ as well as each other. What better company could we keep? Come and grow with us!
